Dump the practice and fall into peace, abundance and love

When we decide, “I will always be conscious of my thoughts,” then who is the entity that makes such a claim? It’s the ego-mind, isn’t it? The entity that interferes with “Awareness is” here and now. You can try the mindfulness practice but know that you are burning psychic energy by stretching towards something other than peace, abundance, love which is at our disposal.

When we say, “I will be alert—always on my toes ready to embrace the present moment,” then once again, who is that entity that makes these statements? It’s the interference—the dullness—that makes us embark on such a mission statement. After all, when we are truly present it would never occur to us to “stretch out” to the present moment. The present moment captures us instead.

“Awareness is” can be experienced as a birthright. Have you driven for miles and gotten lost in the flow of traffic and the landscape without undermining the alertness and reaction function to changing traffic conditions? Like a fish who takes water for granted, we are S (ilence) E (nergy) L (ove) F (low) at the present moment. The need for mindfulness arises when the self makes a comeback.

Dump the practice and fall into peace, abundance and love, and if the self-imposed interference pops up once again just ask who interferes with the God-given presence of S-E-L-F.
