Open up to serenity, abundance and love

One quarterback won the Super Bowl seven times with different teams; another quarterback lost the superbowl four times with the same team. Another promising quarterback never makes it to the professional team as he injures himself in college. How will these athletes spend the rest of their lives? Is it a personal choice to see the upside just in the experience, or to discover the seeds of destruction in an apparent success story?

What we call I-experience is generated by our conditioned mind. What we attract into our lives is the conditioned life story that begs to be brought to the surface. Do we have the choice to step out of it? Can we visualize “success” the way the Law of Attraction gurus suggest? Do we have the power to let go of our story?

I don’t have answers to all these questions, but I have had a revelation that might help in this regard. It is possible to be aware when this conditioned I-story is active, and it is possible to become aware of its assumptions, feelings, thoughts and sensation. As we become aware that we are conditioned, the story weakens.

Awareness is outside of the mind-generated I-identification. It has no beliefs, no story, no automatic actions that get triggered into existence. It’s a creative manifestation just be showing up and without projection of perceived inner shortcomings. It’s serenity, abundance and love manifested here and now.

How can we flip the switch from personal to universal? It’s always a universal story but the self-identified suffering is optional. We always have access to Awareness, but if the “I” fails to find the switch, there is always the invite for self-awareness. We can learn something when we see our conditioned self as is.
