No one who learns from experience that one choice brings peace and joy while another brings chaos and disaster needs additional convincing.

You just know when you cut yourself off the path, because your energy level starts dropping and events that would normally be perceived as harmless suddenly feel like the end of the world. The spiritual path traveler who is honest with herself can always ask what exactly caused this drop in energy and will receive the answer. At one point you will sail through life like a master since you manage to avoid the energy-mutulating actions at all costs. Choosing in favor of love and against the ego will at one point become effortless and it is then when life becomes easier and blissful since you are connected with the Source at all times.
