There is a Time ...

There is a time to bitch,
a time to bless,
and a time to be passive.

There is a time to advance,
a time to retreat,
and a time to remain in place.

There is a time to talk,
a time to listen,
and a time to be still.

You may aspire to be spiritual and kind to everyone, yet, life may put you into a situation in which you are caught between a rock and a hard place. The wisdom of the Tao is to react to situations as they present themselves and not according to your wishful thinking. Do not wish away the so called impurities of life; they are here to help you advance spiritually. Use the opportunities that life presents to let go of your psychological baggage. Remember that whatever the Tao blesses works for everyone. If you rip a band-aid of your sister's arm she may initially complain but later thank you for it.

Along the Way the questions of what is right and wrong should not be answered by your mind alone; just respond to the holy Now intuitively. Accept the situation you are in and honor it. Perceive the Way, feel the Way, and contemplate the Way; chances are, you will make the right step more often than not. Even if you end up missing a step now and then, the Tao will be sure to let you know about it so that next time around you can do much better.
