The Tao of Balance

Life can be tough at times and you feel like you are being dragged down with it. As you enter a dark valley remember that the next ray of sunshine is just around the corner. Remind yourself of all the blessings in your life and the darkness vanishes. With a little burst of energy and all the problem of the past seem like trifles.

We focus too often on our seemingly overwhelming issues at hand and totally forget what else we have in our life. A depressed outlook is like a distorted vision. Once we put our dark glasses down we instantly feel grateful and joyful.

We are all in the same boat. We are all well-equipped to deal with the issues at hand. Everyone experiences some rough stretches at one point and we all get depressed now and then. But all we have to do is to remind ourselves how potent we are once we set our mind on something useful. From every vantage point there is infinite upside; your creativity is boundless as are your connections with your fellow beings. Let the others pull you up when you are down and don't be ashamed of the dark spots that might be revealed along your journey. We all have them.

As they say, energy flows where attention grows. Accept your dark spots and your missed steps but don't linger on them. Seek balance with every step you take. No matter where you are in this roller coaster called life, a giant is always walking next to you. Like a seesaw, you are balanced right in the center, ready to give when you are thriving and ready to receive as you struggle. Be balanced in the Tao and look out for your travel companion who provides you with joy and strength.
