We are ONE

My spiritual awakening started just around the time when out two boys were born, between 2005 and 2007. I remember well a night when I was sitting in the basement holding our oldest son, perhaps merely 6 weeks old. Suddenly I had a vision of on 80 year old sage sitting there with me! Who knows, perhaps he is my guru from a prior life, just as I am guiding him in this one. GOD only knows!

We are ONE. We can see in every day’s life that people are our mirror, but with our parents and our children we experience this fact first hand. One evening I was reading a spiritual book and suddenly perceived how my parents were reading it through my eyes. I was them at this moment. I felt it in my bones.

Our older son comes after his mother so he seeks peace in me, protecting him from his over-active mind. Our younger son is a happy dreamer instead. It took me a few years to figure this out, but he is the artist that I become these days. He is literally me! Sometimes he says things out of the blue that only I can know. Even more, sometimes he makes predictions about me that weeks later materialize. Our connection is simply surreal.
