Passion, Persistence and Perspective

In my observation, God falls in love with a stubborn heart. We figure out our passion; we are persistent about what we truly want, and God shall add the necessary perspective to help getting us there in a spiritually meaningful way. Paraphrasing ‘the serenity prayer’—‘Lord help me to change the things I can, accept the things I can’t and the wisdom to know the difference—, ‘the passion prayer’ reads, ‘Lord help me fight for the things I love, help me forgo the goals I have wrongly identified with, and the wisdom to know the difference.

As long as there is fire burning in you keep pushing until you hear a ‘click’—the blessed day when God has put your journey on autopilot to get what you truly aspire.
