There is a Time for Tony

Self-help appears intuitive to many

Trust in God seems mysterious instead.

Tony Robbins is known by millions,

Lao-Tzu is largely forgotten in China.

Tony Robbins says we can have it all!

The Way shows us how to have it all.

Tony says push the obstacles harder,

Lao-Tzu suggests, ‘make them part of the Way’.

Tony screams ‘do whatever it takes’!

Lao-Tzu says ‘being, not doing is the Way’.

Truth of the matter is, there is a time for Tony,

when our self once again stands in the Way.

Otherwise, let Her do the job,

while we rest watching the world spin.
