Headed for the Super-Bowl

It is written that those who are first shall be last and those who are last shall be first. That might be true but from whose perspective we might ask. God loves all Her children equally, so can we actually say that Buddha is any dearer to God than Genghis Khan? This might be our perspective, but is it God’s?

Yesterday, I saw the interview with a jubilant Tom Brady after a gruesome battle in freezing night temperatures. He looked like a boy opening his Christmas presents. He is 41 now and is headed for his ninths super bowl appearance in 18 years. He is living his dream, and he apparently has a lot of fun doing it.

Only our soul can say what is good or bad. I am 53 now and Awakening thanks to my inner conflicts of the past that created so much pain over the years that my soul screamed for freedom the way someone who is pushed underwater screams for air. Am I a ‘success’ story? Hell yes I am, in my eyes anyway.

Our soul signed us up for this  journey. Every life is deeply spiritual and worth our applause. When we consider ourselves superior over anyone we are spiritually by-passing. Still, there is work to do. Our past set us up for this moment at hand. We worked so hard for it, so when headed for the super-bowl, we better show up!
