Relationships

There is a mirror in which you can see yourself entirely—all that you think, feel, your motives, appetites, urges and fears. That mirror is the mirror of relationship—between you and your parents, teachers, the river, trees, the earth, your thoughts. In this mirror you can see yourself as you are, not as you wish to be. An ordinary glass mirror reflects my face exactly as it is, though I may wish it would show me as beautiful. Similarly, in the mirror of relationship, I can see myself exactly as I am
J. Krishnamurti

I have a mirror when I am with myself, it’s writing. I start with an idea and then follow the energy of the note as it writes itself. Sometimes I learn something about myself; often I put in words what I know deep down inside. But yes, for everyone who is not into writing, don’t worry, life is your mirror. Everything helps you to set yourself free, the good, the bad, the ugly and the beautiful. If spirituality is really what you are after you are taken care off. Every occurrence, every encounter and relationship is being manifested to help you realize who you are at the deepest level.

Ramana Maharshi once said, ‘All efforts are meant only to end ignorance. They have no use after Realization’. So how is your calendar looking today. Do you have an annoying meeting to attend, or are you really looking forward to catching up with an old friend? Either way, this connection is meant to be, so make the best of it. Awake to your own agenda, take a good look in the mirror and be free!
