Taking the plunge

The one seeking liberation, enlightenment or freedom from suffering, isn’t an actual “sentient being”, it’s only an imaginary personality felt as a “me” that is a subconscious projection of mind. There is no personal self, no “me”, except as the subconscious mind’s projection of one.
Jackson Peterson

It’s the job of a politician to say the opposite at the end of the week from what he solemnly declared only at the beginning of the week. To stay in power, he has adjust the sail in the direction the political wind is blowing. Similarly, the business man will change his trusted strategy if it helps the bottom line, and the kind woman will let her boyfriend back in the house even though she swore only yesterday to never talk to him again.

I had an incredible experience yesterday. I was bothered by an erupting pain body and noticed that my mind came up with different stories why. Confused, I went inside and something amazing happened. There was a center at my being full of stillness and serenity. No pain was noticeable there and no story could be told because there was no voice reaching this place. It was a center along a circle of ever-changing occurrences.

We have it all wrong. It’s not about our authenticity. It’s not about minding bi-polar behaviors, it’s the realization that the politician, the business man and Mother Theresa are just actors in a play. It’s about having access to this center of our being when the actor disappears altogether whenever we so choose. Why don’t you drop everything and take a deep dive to the center of your being and leave the ‘you’ behind.
