The Garden

It is said that Adam was one of the greatest; that he lived in a Garden of unimaginable beauty and harmony. Yet boredom got to him; a restlessness symbolized as the longing of the snake and Eve’s beautiful body got the better of him. The rest is history.

Everyone says that when we are Home our mind becomes still. Yet, our mind is a full body experience. We have feelings to deal with, pain bodies and traumas of the past to heal; we have cravings to fulfill and fears to face. Only then can we become still.

Each of us should set out to create a Garden our own, and to the extent that we face obstacles we should ask ourselves what they are all about. We don’t have to wait until the Garden is completed. We can be at ease working towards it. We can be free now.

Home is not the Garden per se. Home is living with a peace of mind, working intent on reaching our goal and being free right in this moment. For every imbalance, for every baggage we still have to let go off, God has given us a mission to embark on.

It’s time to return Home—are you creating your Garden?
