God is with us wherever we are

 Spirituality 1.0

“Gods suppressed become devils, and often it is these devils whom we first encounter when we turn inward.”

Joseph Campbell

To those who work on themselves to have a more productive, life-affirming and loving life, I salute you.

Spirituality 2.0

“We should be wholly established in God, and it is astonishing how much this inflames us with so great and so strong a love that we strip ourselves entirely of ourselves.”

Meister Eckhart

To those who see the self in the obstacle before them and lose themselves in the magic of the Way, I salute you!

Spirituality 3.0

"My worship is of a very strange kind.

In this, Ganga water is not required.

No special utensils are necessary.

Even flowers are redundant.

In this, all gods have disappeared.

And emptiness has merged with euphoria."

Lahiri Mahasaya

To those who have spotted “no-thing-ness” in the observed universe, I salute you!

I had a long conversation with a friend who is obviously very deep. His point is that we climb this (imaginary as I would call it) mountain which never ends. “Where does this leave us?”, I asked him? “It’s an all or nothing approach. I want to be a no-body.”, he replied. It gets a bit confusing the longer we embark on this spiritual quest because there are so many different dimensions of consciousness. Climbing we must—or floating down the river into the sea of Oneness, as I prefer to tell the simile—but in all that working towards we shouldn’t forget to tend to the garden right in front of us. Each dimension of consciousness is given to us for a good reason, to find serenity, love and God there.
