A young college student from a loving and protected family spent his first year away from them in a new city. All our surprised friend could respond was "Are you nuts?"
Emma Bunton sings in 'What I Am', "I know what I know if you know what I mean". Knowing the Tao is a feeling like that. As it is written,
By their fruits ye shall know them,
and they shall know themselves.
You can't really fool yourself along the Tao. If things are blowing up into your face, you have come off-track. Never mind, keep on trying and the next harvest will be around the corner.
