Being a Tao master is so easy in theory, all you have to do is to reach the stage Alicia sums up so well; you just have your eyes on one goal, the Tao. The question I would have though, are you really burning up inside for just living the Tao? Perhaps there is still some desire left in you, like the ones Alicia lists, your expectations, the fame, the power, gambling or sex. Could it be that you are repressing some of your desires because society tells you so?  Perhaps you are simply too afraid to do so, and you happen to hide behind your supposedly holy journey. There is only one thing you can do about it, live your passions and get it done with. If you are just sitting there waiting for Godot, you will never get anywhere.

Get your job done so that we can move on along the Way. Before you know it you will have burned your last passion, or even better, find a way to express your passion without undermining your spiritual path. Before you know it, your journey will be over and you will hum together with Alicia "Some people want it all, but I have nothing at all, if I ain't got have you Baby!"
