Restlessness

'Be still and know that I am God' the bible states. Reaching this center of stillness is what meditation and our spiritual path is all about. The question only happens to be how exactly do you get there?

We all have a job to do. We all have certain desires that need to be expressed. If you retire into the forests only to avoid this drive in you, you most likely waste your time. Yet, the question will always remain what exactly is your mission statement, what are you supposed to do and what might be better to cut out?In short, what were you born to do?

There are situations and people who lead you out of equilibrium, who push your buttons so to speak. Once you are out of equilibrium, don't expect to meet much holiness along this path. Because even if you did, you would be too busy to look anyhow. It is a fine balance to get to that point of engagement, yet experience minimum distractions along your spiritual path. But don't worry, that's what the Tao is for. Chances are if you do everything life asks you to do today, you will be in pretty good shape.
