An Opportunity to Heal

We were sitting in a conference room brainstorming about the future of our group. I was suddenly reminded of a very similar scene about a decade ago. Most of the people present were also there then, but the table had turned. Some of the high flyers then were struggling today, some of the beaten up folks do better today. I suddenly saw clearly that time is nothing but an illusion. In the circle of life everything is repeated over and over until you make the choice to transcend it. How easy it would been to use my new-found powers to beat up on those that ill-treated me then. Yet, I would have fallen into the same trap and we would have experienced this scene over and over again. I am you and you are me. Lift your brother and you are lifting yourself. Everything in life is an opportunity to heal. With healing, the loop of past mistakes will finally be transcended in our circle of life.
