Indifference

I remember a time when I used to have enemies - people who I thought didn't wish me well. This period is long past and today I feel surrounded by friends. Every person I meet has a special message for me; sure, there can be frictions on occasion, but I view these as either an opportunity to adjust my position or to stand firm. The implied soul searching process always tends to bring out new insights and I never spend much time analyzing what the agenda of my discussion partner might be. Each person the Tao brings my way I treat as a potential friend; I am no longer on a collision course with anyone. However, I surely see people who are indifferent about me, our paths simply don't cross.

If you aspire to be popular with everyone, a spiritual path may nor be the right choice for you. If people have an agenda and you are not part of it then please let them travel their own way. It is surely your right to have many friends and the Tao will connect you with them as fast as you are able to expand your circle of influence in a way that works for everyone. A Tao traveler has no need to be special - you are the Daughter of God, isn't that special enough? But then you also know that everyone else is - those who know it as well as those who don't know it yet. Do not rule out anyone to perhaps connect with you at a later stage, perhaps when they take a little break from their Sisyphus labor, or when they find that you are suddenly part of their agenda after all. A Tao traveler will meet plenty of love and on occasion indifference, there is no need for any negative emotions at all.
