On Meditation

When people hear the expression 'meditation' they think of a thoughtless state, sitting in a Pooja room or in a spiritual center, with incense burning in the background and perhaps some religious chants playing. I experience that too at times but do you know that you can meditate wherever you are? Have you ever observed how trees dance in the wind, merging into an impressionistic painting right in front of your eyes? Have you ever observed the sunlight dancing in the ocean, in raindrops, in mirrors and windows, waving at you and showing you to get lost in this moment. Thoughts naturally come to a standstill at this time and all you can experience is infinite connectedness.

Have you ever noticed how you can look into a persons soul just by looking into her eyes? Do you notice that your thought process comes to a complete standstill when you are literally dancing with your counterpart in a conversation? The 'Now', the invite of the Tao to dance with you, is always at your disposal. And at that magic moment you are free, in the flow, enlightened, or however else you want to call this holy moment.
