Discover Your Self by Opening Up

How do you feel about opening yourself up to people and show your vulnerability to others? Similarly, do others open up to you? For the "rational mind" the latter seems much more attractive than the former. After all, opening up to others can be outright dangerous, right? Yet, we ask you, do you feel truly happy inside? Has your carefully constructed world and your scheming ever brought you happiness? Let the Tao show you that this world is one and let Her demonstrate to you that amidst the darkness that you perceive, you are well-protected and cared for. Perhaps today is a good day to get to know your brother a little better. Let your soul siblings show to you who you truly are.

We always want to appear in a positive light, yet life has light and shades. We have to accept both, in us as well as in others. Let your brother help you reveal how you truly feel, just as you help her to open up as well. Please observe for yourself how you have kept people away by building a wall between yourself and the world.  Why do you have to pretend that you are in a good shape when you are not?  What are you really afraid of?  Are you scared that people will look down on you when you are not happy or struggling? You know that you are not any different from them, right? All these considerations are your ego talking and the Tao is here to show you with the help of your soul brothers how to put all that aside.

We are not telling you that you should tell your life story to a stranger out of a sudden.  Falling in love with someone is a natural process. When you fall in love with someone you open up to that person completely, don't you? The Tao is here to repeat this feat over and over. Not just with one who you consider special but with literally everyone who is meaningful to you.  But then, could it be that you wear a tiny mask even with your loved ones? Or could it even be that you are hiding things even from yourself? Let the Tao help you to tear down these walls. It is not a demolition course that you need to be afraid of. Instead, She is taking you by the hand and shows you that the tiny hut you were living in never existed. When you see your new home you will be amazed by the size, the light, the open-space architecture and the many soul siblings that are waiting there to celebrate with you. Be open to life and be open to the teachers that are everywhere. Let the Tao surprise you.

Estranging from your feelings and needs is a symptom that you estrange from your Self.  When you estrange from your Self, deep inside, you won’t feel happy and content. Since you are reading this, you are probably interested in trying a different route.  You have tried for yourself and you have run into an imaginary wall. Superficially you may have a good life but you are not happy.  You know something is missing but have no idea what is it. Try for yourself, when you connect with your feelings and acknowledge them, see how your mood changes accordingly.  The way to happiness is not we get whatever it is we think we want, the way to happiness is that we acknowledge our truth and accept it as it is.  The Tao is here to remove the dark glasses you are wearing. You will never be happy with this old perspective, yet it is the only one you have ever experienced in this life.

The truth wants to be accepted as it is.  If even you cannot accept how you are, how can you expect other people to accept you?  Experiment this for yourself, when you accept yourself, the whole universe will accept you as well.  When you have judged yourself deep down inside, you will always come across people who judge you. So, express your weakness and open up to it and see how others will accept you with it. The world is one. Others just mirror back how you perceive yourself. Don't be afraid, you are loved exactly as you are. Your struggles define you and make you the person you are born to be.   We love you anyway!
