The World as a Mirror of Your Self

Have you ever realized that how you feel about the world actually just reflects how you are at that moment?  When you are in good mood, you experience the world as lovely, just as when you feel blue everything immediately looks a little darker. There is actually more to the story. When you are connected to your Self, you are connected to your environment as well, whereas when your ego takes over, everyone becomes distant. Once you are in tune with your Self it would never occur to you to blame anyone for anything. If the whole world is just a mirror, who is there to blame? Observe this magic for yourself. Everyone is literally inside of you.

Your emotions are your signposts to adjust yourself. When you feel love, peace and joy you are connected and inspiration flows out of you nonstop. But when you experience disturbances instead you will feel lonely and anxious. Accept whatever state you are in at the moment but look out for the interferences. Being connected to your Self is your birthright. The Tao's connections are present all the time. If you can't see them, examine what stands in the way.

Happy people are healthy, full of energy and make friends wherever they go and work. So the ability to connect to your Self is the biggest present you can ever give yourself. Luckily it is very much in your power to get to that stage. Breathing, meditations and living mindfully connects you with your Self, as is observing the ever changing mirror that life - the Tao- presents to you. The Tao will always encourage you to remove your limitations and disturbances so that you can be in touch with your Self all the time. There are no accidents in life. Why do you think you are reading this note right now?

The Self transcends thoughts and emotions. Breath in through your left nostril, hold the breath for a few seconds and then breath out through your right nostril. Repeat that several times until you have found a rhythm. Can you feel how the energy is rising up your spine when you breathe in just as it moves down your spine as you breathe out? This energy slowly pushes the noisy thoughts in your head away until you are in touch with your Self. Now you are ready for the inspiration that always slumbers deep inside of you.

Find the ways to connect with your Self every day and observe for yourself how your mind tends to run your life. Observe how you become the beneficiary or the victim of the apparently random events in your life. If good stuff happens your head is telling you that you are on the top of the world, just as you think the world is coming to an end when bad stuff happens. Learn to connect with your Self and let Her teach you that an island of peace, joy, love and inspiration surrounds you always. Nothing is ever is random. Get in touch with your Self and embrace the world to your heart's delight.
