Holiness versus Wholeness

I have always maintained that the path towards wholeness is also a path towards holiness. If you don't understand who you are deep down inside, you can't simply go by the  notions of the Self that others have. Your soul needs healing, and your path may go in a different direction than the one of the brother who walks next to you. We already had the Christ and the Buddha; we need you to show up instead. But once you get a glimpse of who you truly are deep down inside, the next stop in your journey will be holiness instead. Your path and your brother's will converge with the Way once you both have found your true calling. And wherever you tread now, love abounds.

So if you have reached this fork in the road, you can still follow the demands of the ego and sculpt the person you were born to be. But that's all. The engine has stopped running while the wheels are still turning.  The skin of the snake called ego has already fallen off, he just doesn't know it yet. Just do your thing and let love take you home.
