Everything that happens to you is kind of perfect from your soul's development point of view. We know this can be a hard sell even in a spiritual forum, but it is true. Take difficult situations as an example. When problems and constraints hit you, you may have the desire to avoid them, or even if you are willing to face them, you may want to tackle them with your same old trusted techniques. Yet, you probably have already learned the hard way that you can never out-run your problems, they just keep coming back. You have probably also figured out that each problem encourages you to look at the world with new eyes. Change is hard, yet a reward is always waiting for you if you try.
Take learning. As you pick up a new skill or technique, you will naturally make mistakes. Yes, you can complain about this fact, but that just means that you will drain your energy even more. Yet, if after a good night's sleep you zoom into your struggles some more, or ask others for their advice, see how quickly you will find creative solutions. It is always the same, if you are willing to be vulnerable, your flexibility will be immense and you can have so much fun along the Way. This is really why the bible recommends, "be as little children."
We are not that different from you, we also don't walk on water. Yet, we work under the assumption that everything that comes our Way has been hand-picked just for us to make us discover our true potential. It has been an observation, and we till have to find one counter-example. It works for us, but you may call that perspective naive, you may even consider it outright wrong, yet next time when you catch yourself complaining about something or someone, why don't you give our hypothesis a try. You may be in for a surprise. The perceived foe may be a friend in disguise.
