The Wave

Just like there is a rhythm in season’s change, there is a rhythm in our life as well.  If you reflect on your life you can probably remember a time when you felt blessed.  Whatever came your way, it always turned out good and you were happy.  Everything happened effortlessly.  Certainly, you deserve success and happiness. However, you have probably also learned the hard way that there are periods when seemingly no matter how hard you work things just won’t come your way.  It seems that you are out of your luck.  It is very much like we wish to have a hot day in winter. Nature and the odds are against you.

The ancient Chinese observed some cool laws of nature. The four seasons, the movements of planets, astrology, the yin and yang of life. There are times when it pays to take risks, and there are times when it is best to stay in bed. There are times for strive, time for hesitation and times for waiting for your turn to come.  It is very much like surfing.  You silently wait for the right tide and go for it.

Who knows what the meaning of resistance is and who knows what exactly the occasional loss is about. Just as Katy Perry writes in her song "Fireworks", maybe the reasons why all the doors are closed so that you can open one that leads you to the perfect road!  So please be very patient with the astrological movements.  You always do your best, that's all you can do anyway. And be open to life's experiences. Every rain cloud has a silver lining, you just have to wait for your opportunity to shine.

Become one with the wave that describes your path. Be serene when you are rising, and wait for the inflection point when you are going down again. We waste so much energy wondering what if the wave just peters out, or what if our surf board flips over! Well, let your life experiences come to you and stand ready for the next wave coming your way.  Soon it will be your turn. Have fun!
