Oneness

Enlightenment could be defined as the absence of resistance to what is, the total intimacy with whatever is taking place without any desire to reject and replace it; so intimate that there is no room for a self to separate itself out of the whole. (Rupert Spira)

I love the quote but I would describe this insight as an understanding of "Oneness" rather than "Enlightenment". It is the realization that everything that happens, imperfect as it feels at the time, is indeed a "perfect imperfection" to launch us on the mission we are born to do. We also understand to merely follow the WAY and let everything settle as life makes it out to be. It may appear unfair and unpredictable for the ordinary eye, but to us trained spiritual travelers it seems, in a strange way, to make sense just as is.

Emotions such as anger, jealousy, greed and guilt lose meaning over the years. There is Oneness, there is Wholeness, and there is the WAY; everything else is secondary.
