I am told that you can take medication that make you terribly sick when you drink alcohol. Well, that's one way to become abstinent.
Interestingly, a spiritual path acts a little like that. Over the years new energy centers open up that allow us to experience the world with new eyes, a more loving heart, peace of mind and way more vigor.
There is no turning back though. Exposure to lower energies - that we tolerated just fine in the olden days - will hit you now with the weight of a ton of bricks. With little choice to do something else, all we have to do is to hold on and follow the WAY.
Up, up and away we go!
