Wild, wild, wild,
when I’m with you, all I get is wild thoughts.
We have evolved from our animalistic roots but we are still very much part of the animal kingdom. We have the same biological response all animals experience, like the biological necessary impulse to mate for example. We are still scared when we feel threatened. We get anxious and aggressive when we are hungry, or when our livelihood is in danger. Having these roots doesn’t mean that we just have to act recklessly according to the emotional state we are in, but we need to be aware of what’s going on beneath the hood. We need to tune into that state, respond and respect how we feel inside.
Instead of judging and blocking them out, being aware of these emotional states, we can experience and embrace them. Suddenly we realize that we are bigger than the biological functions. We are even bigger than the psychological perception of “I”. Suddenly we become aware of our system, and of that of others, as well as the exchange of energies between people. Suddenly, we understand how our other counterparts are wired, and we understand that we are part of this magnificent human experience.
We are here to experience life and realize we are so much more than our mind can grasp. Human life is part of a Soul journey, and we are grateful that we can be here. It has been a long journey from animalistic instincts to the spiritual I AM THAT I AM moment. Every spiritual traveler wants to get there, and everyone eventually will, but it all starts with accepting and embracing our roots.
