Sometimes you put your heart and your soul into something, and it still doesn’t work out. But then, as you are lying there, licking your wounds, you realize that in all that pain there is something beautiful unfolding that you would never have realized going into the event. Perhaps you didn’t put your heart and soul into the missed opportunity after all. Perhaps you put your narrow perspective into it, and now that the perspective has broadened, you realize that this experienced pain was also worth something. The Soul is bigger than our narrow perception of reality, and sometimes, the Soul wants what it wants!
