Stay Grounded

A friend canceled her FB account. From one day to the next, all her personal, family, and spiritual connections gone. I asked her why and she responded with all the people reaching out to her, she wasn’t quite her old self anymore.

Let’s be honest with ourselves. There are times when we are part of divine Consciousness, and there are times when we are all too human. It is ok to be human you know. Yes, the stars are our birthright, but we can only appreciate them if we have both feet planted on the ground.

When you observe life and completely open up to it you will see that we are invited on a roller coaster ride. Yes, we can opt to stay out for serenity’s sake, but we would be missing all the fun. The events that elevate us to the next climax are followed by the decay that brings us down to earth again.

There is Heaven on earth, and there is earth in Heaven. That is the symbol of yin and yang articulated by Lao-Tzu. Accept these little time-outs when you need to come back to surface to gasp for air. Before you know it, you will take another deep dive in the sea of divine Consciousness.
