God’s Grace

Still your mind in Me. Still yourself in Me, and without a doubt you shall be united with Me. Lord of Love, dwelling in your heart. (Bhagavad Gita)

Stop craving for enlightenment. The very institution that wants you to run away from what is tells you how good everything would be if only you tried a bit harder. A carrot in front of the donkey; alas, never to be reached.

Do you know how Sri Ramakrishna achieved enlightenment? He reached for a sword and said, ‘if you don’t come to me, I come to you’, but at the last moment Goddess Kali descended and took his sword away.

Enlightenment comes when we are ready for the last step across the bridge, and not a moment before. Here and now we have little to do, except of course, to be grateful for God’s Grace in the present moment.
