Mind the Quest for Enlightenment

The mind wants to take credit for Awakening. It wants to turn it into an achievement. By being the achiever of enlightenment it retains its identity, pride, separation and deceitfulness. Find that which is not a doer, not an achiever. Find That which simply Is.
(Mooji)

It’s a fine balance! Yes, we can help setting our Self free by sharing the gospel, but unfortunately the ego has a decent involvement in this process. It wants to lecture others and wants to be acknowledged for its spiritual wisdom and effective superiority.

The searching, the pushing, the craving is certainly a reflection of the healthy desire to be free, but it is also the ego dressing itself in spiritual clothes and embarking on a journey of keeping itself on a worthwhile mission until the end of days.

What do I do with this intrinsic conflict? I do what I always have done since my Awakening started, I let the Way guide me. There is a time to read, a time to meditate, a time to post ideas and chat with my friends and Soul mates. Mostly, I simply live!
