Be Mindful of Christian Love

A witty minister once said, ‘Well, some folks we should better love from a distance’. He was onto something. I have seen too many well-meaning Christians invite self-abuse in the aspiration to be a good neighbor and a helpful Samaritan.

I once had a strange observation. Someone who followed Christianity to the letter was deep down inside really arrogant and effectively looked down on the people she claimed to love so much. It seemed like she was swallowing her hatred and effectively abused her own body in the process.

I travel the way of insight. I realize when anger rises in me. I allow it, I am one with it and look for life’s invite to release it. As I do there is even more of a release, I become humble and compassionate as a God always shows me that my projection and judgement was part of the problem statement.

Be mindful of Christian Love. Be real and have a chance to actually experience it!
