The Mind Prison

I grew up believing that I needed to be beautiful or good to be worthy of love.  Unfortunately, my mom used to call me ugly when I grew up. So I always believed that I was ugly and not worthy of being loved.

Does this resonate with you? You have some kind of belief set and you never question pretty much independent of whether it is true or not. Unfortunately, I never questioned what my mom said to me until I was in my twenties. You can imagine how this belief set almost destroyed my life. When there was a boy asking me out, I just couldn’t believe that people would love me given that I was so ugly.

Can you see how our beliefs can deviate from the truth and can make us suffer? Can you see how these thoughts and emotional patters from the depth of our subconscious can lock us up us in a prison? We can only escape from that prison when we truly understand our patterns of suffering.

It’s until recently when I started realizing how I keep creating different thought patterns and put myself in a prison full of suffering. Not only did they put me in there, but I also draw people around me to play this game with me.

May God guide us to dismantle these belief sets and set us free to experience true love!

May God light up our hearts and let us know even in the darkest moments of our life that She will be with us.

May God shower us with wisdom to know the truth and lead a life of full love toward ourselves and others!
