A Whole Mind

In a neurological experiment it was shown that the answer to a question or problem statement comes to us before we are consciously aware of having made a decision. This of course begs the question how much conscious control we have over our life.

I am the creation of my mother who is as earth-connected as they come, and my father who had a powerful mind but could never find the grounding that allowed him to live a fulfilled and peaceful life.

I almost ended up like him. He succumbed to his demons having to decide the fate of children and families as a judge for family affairs, I almost got executed by volatility of financial markets in my job causing havoc for my monkey mind.

I had two advantages over my father who unfortunately never could find peace of mind, the robust nature of my mother and the help of a healer who encouraged me to open up to my suppressed feelings.

Today I have an answer to both, the confused scientific community that cannot get their arms around the apparent lack of free will, as well as our spiritual leaders who declare our mind as the works of the devil.

Our mind is literally an after-thought. The unitive experience is always with us, but our mind can explain it. To attack the monkey mind as the problem statement is not right, the restlessness is within and has to leave the system one way or the other.

Today I enjoy the best of all worlds. I don’t think when I talk to you. I observe you. I feel you. I am one with our unitive experience. Yet, when you ask me for advice, I spin a story together for you that resonates and is meaningful to you.

Thank you Mama and Papa for having made me whole !
