The Course in Miracle says that time is like a carpet that can be rolled up any time. God is infinite and can always use the present moment as the break-through moment. As we stand next to the burning bush we suddenly understand that everything that has ever happened to us has prepared us for this divine moment. Our entire life history has been a preparation to set us up for today’s break-through; all egomaniac cravings and actions, all thrill rides, all serene and loving memories were put together with mathematical precision to get us here. Hard to imagine? Too complex and difficult to design? Well, our mind has a tough time getting its arm around infinity. God is literally mind blowing.
When mathematician explains the concept of infinity, the example often used is to imagine an infinite number of monkeys hammering randomly on a type-writer. Infinity is so large that one of them will ‘randomly’ type the Bible. That’s how God creates maya for us. God starts with the break-through moment here and now and solves backwards to get us there. ‘I am already there’ is the burning bush experience. When we have it we realize that we have always been there. Our enemies were really our friends; our painful traumas were nothing but a bad dream. ‘I am already there’—God respected our free will all along because He already knows the day when we break free from it!
We don’t need free will for walking the Way. Walking with our loved ones and surrounded by abundance, why would we need free will? We would be mad if we didn’t take our journey with God. The ego dissolves along the Way as it is simply wowed into oblivion. The ego had a ‘raison d’etre’ to make us conscious, but in all our egoistic behavior we didn’t know that we were set up. The ego’s free will lead us straight into God’s Arms on the fastest route. Osho once said, ‘be realistic, expect a miracle!’ The Holy Now is a miracle and our ego cannot fathom what our Father can do. We are part of
the most amazing virtuality reality show ever. Today is a good day to break free from it.
