Most of our suffering comes from the mistake that we take this body—this person—as our Self. We try our best to protect her as much as possible. We accumulate stuff to protect this person, to make sure that she is fine. However, whatever we do, our effort is in vain. Because what we take as real, as Self, is not real. She is just temporary. She is mortal. Whatever I do, what effort I make, she still operates under the laws of physics. She is still going to experience the same fate as nature and all other beings.
When we can see this so clearly, we stop our useless effort and rest with ease. Just enjoy every moment as it comes. Just experience every moment as it comes. Just let our existence unfold as is. In the meantime, let go of any effort to protect, to control this pseudo identity. On the other hand, experience and be alert with every moment. What am I going to learn at this moment? What’s the message for me now?
When you let go, you start to enjoy and play with every moment as it comes! Have fun!
