Jesus, what a waste!
Yet, as the Blue Lord says,
there are times when a man
got to do what a man got to do!

Siddhartha was once quite handsome.
Laughing, obviously he didn’t care!
Is Buddha’s nirvana possible?
Outside of this world it certainly is. Still,
even ‘bliss’ is too narrow—all is One.
The old man in China didn’t care to write,
knowing, the ancients were even better;
knowing, ugliness and beauty are One.
Heaven is in earth and earth in Heaven,
Equanimity of mind is key, knowing that
the Way takes us Home, whatever it takes.
