The sage has no agenda,
that’s why the Tao prevails.
What does it mean to be free of desire?
We know that the Tao knows best!
We realize that ‘win’ or ‘lose’
is win-win for everyone.
Christian M. Wiese
Did you ever notice how much energy little birds have to expand to change altitude or change directions, and then see how eagles have perfected the art of gliding the thermal currents effortlessly. That’s what Awakening is really all about. We are also not any different than others. We have ego like everyone else just as the eagle is still a bird, yet we have learned to ride the finer energies that some seem to fail to perceive. We follow the energies of people and places, and as we do, our mind is vowed into silence and our agenda is temporarily forgotten.
The big confusion in our spiritual community is that we put people on pedestals. Oprah Winfrey once asked Eckhart Tolle in an interview whether he was in fact free of ego and he answered ‘yes’. What a strange response! We all have ego but some of us have Awoken to a world where our agenda has a temporary time-our because we are in awe of the finer energies that we are riding that are clearly Beyond our little self. It’s a love with what is; a realization that the we carry the world that we experience with us, just as the eagle may experience the thermal currents as an extension of its wings.
Everyone can ride these finer energies. Look out for them. They are everywhere. Ride like the wind!
