Deep contentment,
harmony with what is.
universal love in our heart,
with the light streaming in.
That’s when we are ‘There’.
Are you?
I remember 3 moments around my graduate school days when I was ‘There’. The first when I had finished up a stressful first semester and I was headed home for the holidays. I was at a friends house that night and felt peace descending I had never experienced that way before. Same when I was on an air plane a couple of years later, reading ‘A Road Less Traveled’ by M. Scott Peck, giving me a taste of what my current career as a writer and spiritual coach would all be about. The third moment of peace and fulfillment was when my advisors signed off my PHD thesis. I sat with my fiancée at the bank of the river Charles in Boston and enjoyed a bottle of Champaign. Life was perfect then,
I am sure you had those peak moments. They probably differ for each of us. We all have slightly different notions of what ‘being There’ means, but the peace of mind and feeling of love and fulfillment is always there. Some make a big deal about an ‘out of body’ experience, a no-self state of perspective. That also comes. We are ‘There’ when the kundalini energy flows freely; that’s what generates the inner light experience. Being ‘There’ is just like the afterglow of an amazing orgasm but it lasts much longer, in one recent experience it lingered for a week. A spiritual quest comes with perks. It’s well worth signing up for.
