How far is Heaven?

It was the early days in my Awakening, probably some time around 2012/2013. I was riding the Ascension wave in those days but had my low energy days as well, especially when the work stress got to me. I remember one such night, while sitting in commuter traffic listening to ‘How far is Heaven?’ by the Los Lonely Boys. Frustrated, I had my little ‘Conversation with God’ that I used to practice in those days, asking Him to answer this question for me.

After the song stopped playing there was a pause, and one DJ asked the other, ‘Care to answer this one?’ The other DJ responded, ‘Well, that depends on what your notion of Heaven is.’ Strangely, I knew that moment that this was an answer from the Beyond. Fast forward seven years and I wouldn’t ask this questions any longer. I found what I was looking for. Still, I would give the same answer the DJ gave then and add, ‘you will find what you are looking for; it has to be that way because you are That!’

What we all look for may differ in the end. I have always been after serenity and love and found it. It surrounds me, no matter what. Others maybe after empowerment and mystical experiences and they will find it too. The Beyond meets the seeker on their level. In the absence of self, SELF—Serenity, Empowerment, Love and Fusion (with the Beyond)—is rushing in. In our limitation, we zoom into what is meaningful to us, and that’s why our earthly descriptions of Heaven differ slightly.

So how far is Heaven? Not far, keep knocking and find the door wide open.
