Stepping out of our mind

Self-realization cannot be foretold. Some get it spontaneously; others do not get it even with much effort. When a particular stage is reached, there comes about an appropriate change, and the ground is suitably prepared. Then the mind, which wants to either acquire or get rid of something, will disappear.
Nisargadatta Maharaj

True story! I can’t tell you much about Self-realization. These moments of bliss and transformative Aha-moments come and go, but I can tell you something about a change that has taken place over the last 12 years since Awakening started. The commentary in my head has mostly vanished. I don’t think about the future much knowing that this is as best as it gets, always. I also don’t spend much time reflecting on the past. This is the moment to be. We can build a little niche for ourselves, many of my spiritual friends are doing this as well. We can create a Garden that assumes a special meaning for everyone. The mind has little role to play other than downloading the Truth that is always at our disposal.
