The ego is the focus of conscious mind.
It’s the ‘me’ identity, the agenda we have.
Awakening then is the realization that
our steering wheel is a waste of resources
in a GPS led and self-driving vehicle.
Let go of the steering wheel and enjoy!
There is some effort though; a will to arrive.
The spiritual discipline, besides going inwards,
is to meet life with understanding, a loving
heart and 20:20 vision: ‘This, but not that’
