Belief

You can learn so much about a person just by observing how she walks, or how he gestures as he speaks; is his posture erect, does she have her arms crossed, and so forth. Mostly the nature of a person changes as the situation changes. Someone may be a skilled driver but not very good with technology; someone may feel empowered by a loved one, and intimidated by a boss and so forth. There is no general self-belief of a person, often the situation determines which color shines through.

Spiritual maturity boils down to a belief. Do I really know deep down inside that I am ‘That’? Spiritual progress consists in the ability to drop outgrown belief systems fast. Spiritual maturity should be measured in the ability to revert back to the ‘I Am That I Am’ state no matter what the situation that we are in.

How then can we drop outgrown belief systems? How can we just be without being someone or something in particular? The answer may well be in observation and mindful. Realize when once again you are someone or once again after something. The realization, ‘who is this?’ is the beginning of a new belief system that is bound to catapult you in the ‘I Am That I Am’ state. Try it!
