God is part of the illusion, as well as beyond it. Life has been designed to help us awaken to what lies beyond us. A clever game-strategist there is, anticipating our moves—unconscious as well as conscious—to return with perceived “free will”.
God is part of everything, yet, that doesn’t mean that we should live life on auto-pilot. Our happiness and fulfillment depends on smart choices. Essentially, that is what a spiritual quest is all about, being mindful of thoughts, actions and beliefs.
To paraphrase JFK, ‘Don’t ask what Consciousness can do for you, ask what you can do for (experiencing) Consciousness.’ It is about becoming conscious of self and transcending it. Take a good look around. Can you see Her?
