There is nothing wrong with self-identification per se,
just that what initially tastes as honey turns into poison.
It is popular to single out the ego as the bad part of self.
Yet, ego reads self in Latin—the bad comes with the good.
Transcendence of self is what this quest is all about.
How to drop the ‘story of me?’—well, ‘you’ tell ‘me’!
There are ways to spot when our self is at work, and
there is an energy, a feeling, when we are beyond it.
