The problems which bother or pain us are always because we don’t understand them. We don’t know the underlying root cause so that these problems stay with us. Actually, to solve the problem is usually not related to the problem at hand, you have to look at the problem in its totality so you can open yourself to the root cause. For example, there is a mom who really worries about her son not being tall enough, so she has been feeding him supplements since he was little, taking him to see doctors and asking about hormonal growth therapies, asking him to go to bed early, pushing him to do exercise. She has shown an extensive interest in his physical appearance and has made their relationship tense. The truth is the mother projected her own injuries of not being tall, or maybe her husband not being tall enough, into her boy.
We always treat the problem as granted and then seek to solve the issues. This is very different from looking at the issue. This is a totally different state. The former approach is that you are already falling into a mind's trap, so that when you look at the problem statement you will find yourself trapped in your own injuries and obstacles. The issue can become a mission impossible because we give it meaning and project our own perceived inadequacies or aspirations into it. If you can be clear about these meanings and injuries, this issue won't be an issue anymore, and hence, nothing remains to be solved.
