It is true that we are conditioned by our past and our environment, but it is also true that for every moment at hand there is an opportunity to express our self in harmony with the divine energies. Life as is encourages us to be in touch with these prevailing divine energies. Like a vector in mathematics, if the conditioning points to the right, and life pulls us to the left, the golden arrow strikes where it is meant to reach. The world of appearances is merely an opportunity to step out of our self identity moment by moment. Sometimes Grace flows through us externally, shot like the golden arrow straight into the mark, while sometimes Cupid’s arrow hits us straight into the heart. As within, so without.
