Death is the only unknown. We cannot experience it so we cannot understand it. For us the only feeling we can have about death is fear. There is not much meaning to talk about physical death. Even we can live up to 200 years old, this body will die.
What's important is, we are not scared of death itself, but we have lots of imaginations and ideas about it. It’s these ideas and imaginations that put us in a state of fear so we can never touch or face this part of life.
If we don't understand our life, then we cannot understand death because they cannot be separated. We can take a look at how we are leading our life. What's the content of our life?
Even if we lead a life full of activities, but the content is to run away from our self. We run away from our self by being busy, by engaging in meaningful activities so we don't need to face the pain and being alone.
So we need to look at our life. I mentioned this not say that some activity is good or bad. There is no good or bad! It is because beneath all these activities is the problem statement that we run away from our self. Under this pattern, there is fleeting laughter and some sweetness, but this sweetness is nothing compared to the bliss when we stop the activities of our mind, or connecting with our Source.
Now, if you don't attach to your life style, isn't that when you connect with death? Isn't that you die at that moment? When our mind stops, when the machine that creates all the issues stops, we can naturally connect with love.
