Be mindful, that’s all “you” can do

 When Christian writes to you (my middle and pen name), he channels messages that you may resonate with. When Robert goes about in his daily life (my first name), you may like him or not. The truth is, each of these two identities is a bit different, and neither really captures the higher prevailing energies.

 

How can it be that this self we identify with changes moment by moment and yet all believe that we are who we are. We are not! Anyone whoever had a spiritual experience knows that when ‘I Am That I Am’ kicks in, our self, the doer, and even the observer, disappears. These states are rare though.

 

All attempts to connect with the so-called higher self are mistaken, just as all attempts to be mindful of the presence of the lower self is just the self playing intellectual games with itself. I feel it is more useful to just observe the different identifications at work and then let the here now speak for itself.

 

We are channels of the higher energies. Everyone is. What differs is the consciousness of us being creation at work. When we are human like everyone else, so be it. When the higher energies flow through us, great! Being mindful of life as is and our assumed self identity is all we can do.
