Leaving karma and linear thinking behind

I was circling the streets of the Brown campus to find a parking spot in order to meet up with my son who took a class there. You can imagine my surprise when I bumped into my class mate from graduate school who took his son for an orientation. Actually I knew they would be coming to New England this summer, but that we would meet each other on the streets of Providence just by chance seemed like an odd coincidence.

Synchronicity and serendipity become much less of a deal once we know that everything is connected, but it wows our linear mind into submission for as long as it believes in the separate existence of individuals. I wrote my first book around this theme, “The Magnificent Experiment”. The God hypothesis is something everyone can test and discover for oneself. Live your life under the assumption that everything is connected, and it will be.

Body, mind and world are governed in unison by Spirit. Live your life accordingly and you can step out of the so-perceived randomness and the dictate of karmic actions of the past. Karma doesn’t exist when we manage to step out of the ‘me, myself and I’ perception. Sure, there might still be a little past karma to digest but Spirit will gladly offer these past dues and presents in digestible form. Both my son and I fell sick on this trip—so be it.
